Steel Ball Brawl

Five cyborgs a side. One steel ball. A walled arena that fights back. Two 90-second halves of future contact sport — and no fouls worth the name.

Score any way that works

The goal is the obvious route. It is not the only one, and often not the fastest.

The walls are on the scoreboard

  • Wall stars — two points each, ten more for lighting all five. The opponent can shoot them back out.
  • Multiplier loops — throw into either loop to claim ×1.5 scoring, a second transit makes it ×2. Only one side holds it.
  • Gates and domes — teleport the ball across the halfway line, or bounce it off for points.
  • Electro bumpers — electrify your throw and it takes an opponent out of the play.

Injuring someone scores like a goal

Ten points for a goal. Ten for putting an opponent through a wall. That single rule tells you most of what you need to know about how a match is going to go.

Barge their back to strip the ball. Hit them side-on and it is a coin flip. Go head-on and you are the one on the floor — unless you are dashing, in which case you go straight through.

And when you shoot: load it to the maximum and it sails over the bar. The high shot over the keeper's reach is a timing, not a power level — you can miss it both ways.

Five halls, five different fights

Same sport, same 90 seconds a half. The floor is what changes — and in four of the five it is trying to take you out of the game.

The floor is part of the game

  • Ice — nothing grips. Cyborgs and ball both carry momentum, so every run overshoots until you learn to brake early.
  • Inferno — flame pools burn whoever is standing in them, and a trench opens across the halfway line. Both telegraph before they light.
  • Swamp — mud bogs slow you to a wade, drawn fresh from the match seed so no two games have the same map. Loft the ball over them.
  • Castle — three portcullis gates rise on a ten-second clock and seal the pitch into quarters. The ball bounces off them like a wall.

Everything you earn is on one screen

One tap from the front door to a season, a daily, a stranger, or the shop — with what each one pays written on it.

Progress

Play anything, level up

  • Every match counts. The bar under the name fills whatever you play — a career fixture, the daily, a quick game — and harder matches pay more.
  • Levels unlock team shapes and halls. Nine of them, and none makes you stronger: a shape is a way to play, not a better one.
  • The doors say what they pay. Gems for the shop, coins for your squad, XP for the bar. No guessing which currency a screen wants.
  • Ten achievements — from your first win to a hundred-point match — each paying a gem bounty, mirrored to Game Center.
  • Three difficulties, one game. EASY and MEDIUM play by the same rules as HARD — the guard ring, the protected passes — with a gentler brain behind the other team.

A squad that carries a season

Career is a league to climb and a cup to win. What happens in a match follows you into the next one.

Career

Promotion, relegation, grudges

Fourteen fixtures a season, two divisions, a cup on the side. Injuries carry between matches, so the squad you finish a season with is not the one you started it with.

Rotate any man for the bench mid-match: stage the swaps from the pause screen, confirm, and the fresh legs sprint in from the sideline — while your side plays a man short until they arrive. Wounds travel with the man.

Free, and honest about it

The whole game is free, and career includes one full competition — a league season, a cup, or a knockout.

A single one-time purchase opens every competition after that. There are no adverts, no currency to buy, and nothing that makes a paying player harder to beat. Matches against the AI, practice, local two-player and online play are free, always.
